Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in 1962. She is an American actor. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack with actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. She began her film career with the crime drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she received a lot of praise. Rick Rosenthal's film also starred Sean Penn as well as Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to appear in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the greatest high school films of all time. Although it was the budget of $1 million, the movie's revenues exceeded $50 million. Meanwhile she had also started being featured in various shows on TV including CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. In April of 1980, it became an adolescent program. She also appeared on other TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Some of her latest appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about the superhero X-Men that she appears in as in a role as a guest. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
