Ina Garten is well-known American cook book writer and Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002. It has since aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career by working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget, as well as other policy papers. Even though she found the job fascinating initially, in the end she stopped her pursuit and decided to purchase a smaller speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa.
